FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND APPLIED TECHNOLOGY
As the oldest faculty at Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), the Faculty of Science and Applied Technology (FAST) always improves quality and service to become a superior, professional and competitive educational institution in producing graduates of education and teacher training who have competency standards as highly upholding educators Islamic moral values. To realize this struggle, FASTT UAD always enhances the professionalism of academic staff in accordance with the specialization of their disciplines, and continuously improves the quality of research and community service in order to increase the academic weight of academic staff and support the improvement of the quality of graduate competencies in education.
Vision
The vision of the AST Faculty is to become a faculty that excels in the mastery and development of the AST to sustain technological progress, have international insight, and are based on Islamic values.
Mision
- Organizing academic programs in the field of AST (Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Information Systems) that are of quality for the development of science and technology based on Islamic values.
- Organizing and improving the research of lecturers and students and encouraging the creation of a climate of research and scientific publications in the field of AST.
- Organizing and improving service and community service in the field of AST.
- Organize and enhance cooperation with government and private institutions in the fields of education, research, and community service, both nationally and internationally.
Aim
- Produce quality human resources to develop science and technology, be noble and responsible, and uphold the values of Islamic teachings so as to be able to contribute optimally in the formation of national character,
- Produce professional and competitive graduates in accordance with their scientific fields.
