INFORMATION SYSTEM STUDY PROGRAM
The vision of the study program is to be the chosen study program that are trusted and excellent in mastery and development of information system and technology based on moral and Islamic ethics. The missions are: to implement the Islamic way of life in every academic and non-academic activity in the Information System Study Program; to conduct quality academic programs focused on students’ interest to prepare professional and reliable human resources who can accommodate the information technology development now days and in the future; to create good research climate so the lecturers and students can conduct qualified researches in the national level; to conduct community service activities to apply the information system and technology so it can contribute towards the IT-literate society life; to create good cooperation with the government and other institutions in the fields of education, research, and community service to increase the competitiveness.

- Organizing academic programs to form professional professionals who are reliable in the development and management of systems and information technology.
- Conducting lecturer and student research with an orientation to scientific work and products that have beneficial effects with national and international recognition.

- Building cooperation that is synergistic with universities, government, industry and the business world both nationally and internationally.

Aim
The objectives to be achieved by the Information Systems Study Program are: The objectives of the Information System Study Program are:
- Form graduates who master the ability to develop, apply and manage information systems and technology for an organization.
- Produce graduates who master entrepreneurship skills in the field of technology and information systems in order to have independence in entrepreneurship.
- Produce research published in accredited national journals and / or reputable international journals.
- Produce research of lecturers and students who have potential IPR.
- Carry out service that can be a solution and improve the standard of living of the community or community group.
- Organizing institutional cooperation activities in research, service, increasing human resource competencies, and activities based on the information systems profession.
- Implement Islamic Life Guidelines (PHI) in the study program environment.
Competency
- Main Competence
Each graduate has key competencies in developing and mastering information system technology. In addition to having expertise in developing information technology, it also has high integrity and professionalism at work. This achievement was carried out during college through lecture activities and practicums and field practice.
- Supporting Competencies
In addition to the main competencies, graduates also have supporting competencies generated from soft skills programs organized by the university. This program is intended to equip students during college to become moral and dedicated intellectuals.
- Special Competencies
Every graduate has specific competency that is having good attitude and high responsibility based on Islamic values. This specific competency of the graduate is the one that differs from other universities’ graduates.

6 permanent lectures holding master degree from state universities.
Supporting Facilities
The lecture activity is supported by some facilities such as comfortable classroom with LCD and libraries. In addition, there are also some laboratories such as Informatics Theory and Programming (INTIPRO), Information system and Database (SINBAD), Internet and Multimedia (NETMEDIA).
Student Achievement
Some student achievements are:
- The champion of University Student Arabic Poem Reading Competition, Middle East Festival 2013 at FIPB Universitas Indonesia, on behalf of Arbrian Abdul Jamal.
- The champion of RRI (Radio of Republic of Indonesia) Preaching competition, representing RRI of special region of Yogyakarta at RRI of Ternate, on behalf of Arbrian Abdul Jamal.
- The champion of Capture the Flag Competition (CTF), Free Open Source Software Interest League (FOSSIL) at AMIKOM Yogyakarta, on behalf of Eddy Irawan Aristianto.
