EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM
The Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia noted that there were 252.000 Early childhood Education Teachers in Indonesia. From the number, there were only 15,7% holding bachelor degree, 24% holding D-2 and D-3, and 60,6% under D-2 qualification. In other words, early childhood education now days are managed by educators who have not met the qualification (Bachelor of Teacher Education-Early childhood education) and the competency. Towards 2015, based on the data of The Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia, Indonesia still need 757.000 early childhood education teachers. Therefore, Teacher Education-Early Childhood Education Study Program was established on August 5, 2011. The graduates hold Bachelor of Early Childhood Education).

- Carry out the learning process based on Islamic values
- Providing fire services in the PAUD field that are creative and innovative in accordance with the needs of the community

Aim
- Produce Islamic professional educators in the PAUD field
- Produce AUD educators who are able to provide fire services to the public
- Produce human resources capable of conducting studies to support scientific development
- Produce graduates who have independence in developing their knowledge and expertise for the community
The Graduate Competency
1. Prominent Competency
Graduates understand the characteristics and the profile of early childhood learner’s development, and are able to design, implement, evaluate and follow up the learning activities at early childhood education.
2. Supporting Competency
Graduates understand Islamic values reflected in the daily life, are able to implement Muhammadiyah life and to recite Koran well.
3. Special Competency
Graduates have entrepreneurship character, are able to use the information and communication technology in the learning process, have global vision in terms of sciences and communication.
Lecturers
The lecturers consist of one professor, one lecturer holding doctoral degree, and seven lecturers holding master degree. They graduated from national and international universities such as UGM, UNY, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, UPI, and Universitas Sains Malaysia. In addition, they are expertise in some fields of sciences such as development psychology, guidance and counseling, and early childhood education.
Supporting Facilities
The learning process is supported by facilities such as classrooms with LCD and audio visual, library, mosque, cooperation, canteen, parking lot, sport field, free WIFI, laboratory consisting four activities: (1) practice and internship, (2) Public service consisting of counseling and assistance, (3) production development laboratory for lecturers and students, (4) educator development through competency development in the field of early childhood education.
Student Achievement
Some achievements are:
- The second runner up of Student APE competition at the National seminar of Teacher Education-Early Childhood and Primary school UAD on June 25, 2012, on behalf of Nurfika Puspita Dewi and Tities Anjar Prastyani
- The champion and the second runner up of Wall Magazine Competition at the anniversary of Teacher Education-Early Childhood and Primary school on December 2012, on behalf of Esti Khoiriyah and Beta Wahyu
- The champion of Kid Food Supply Decoration Competition at the Kartini Day Celebration on April 21, 2013, on behalf of Dika Santika
- The second runner up of Educative Learning Media Competition at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Fair on May 28, 2013, on behalf of Anjar Prastyani.
