LAW STUDIES STUDY PROGRAM
Faculty of Law, established in 1997, conducts undergraduate Law Studies to prepare the students to be competent and skillful scholars who are ably to analyze and arrange the strategies to solve legal problems in the society. The vision is to be an excellent law studies study program in mastering law sciences and skill that has a global vision based on Islamic values and reformation spirit. One of the missions is to conduct quality education programs those are relevant to the development of law studies, technology, local, national and international society dynamic in the campus atmosphere and academic life. The graduates hold Bachelor of Law degree

Becoming a superior and internationally recognized Law Study Program in mastering science and legal skills, is imbued with Islamic values and a spirit of renewal.

Aim
- The realization of Law Scholars who have superior competencies in the field of legal science and skills as well as being noble, having integrity and professionalism.
- The realization of legal research results inspired by the spirit of renewal and relevant to the needs of local, national and international communities and the advancement of legal science.
- The implementation of the role of the academic community in the development of advanced legal science.
- Realizing the improvement of the quality of human resources that have superior competence in the field of law and are of noble character.
- Implementation of mutually beneficial strategic cooperation activities with local, national and international partners.
Competency
To create graduates who have integrity and capability as agents of change towards the system/structure, substance, and legal culture in the society. They are also equipped by knowledge and science, sensitivity towards the sense of justice, and communication skill in the field of law.
Lecturers
The lecturers consist of foundation permanent lecturers, civil servant lecturers, guest lecturers and practitioners such as judge, prosecutor and lawyer. They graduated from national and international universities such as Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, and Al-Azhar University, Kairo. There are 15 permanent lecturers, most of them hold master degree, four of them currently study doctoral degree, and one professor.
Supporting facilities
The learning process is supported by facilities such as classrooms with LCD and audio visual, library, mosque, canteen, parking lot, and free WIFI. In addition, there are also law laboratory, center for consultation and legal assistance that provide advocating and legal assistance in civil and criminal cases, legal consultation, legal opinion, legal drafting, policy consultation, legal training, legal socialization and research, center for constitution and Democracy, mood court room, and study program library.
Student Achievement
Some achievements are:
- The runner Up for Document category at Mood Court Competition at Universitas Negeri Semarang in 2013 on behalf of Mood Court Community Faculty of Law UAD
- The runner Up at Agriculture Legal Debate Competition Group, Professor Boedi Harsono Trophy at Universitas Trisakti in 2013 on behalf of Debate Team Faculty of Law UAD
- The runner Up at Constitution Debate Competition Group at Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2012 on behalf of Debate Team Faculty of Law UAD
