Becoming an Islamic-based Industrial Engineering Study Program known at the ASEAN level.

1. Organizing educational programs that produce Islamic-based and technopreneur-based Industrial Engineering graduates.
2. Organizing research programs in industrial engineering involving ASEAN level researchers.Also contributing to the development of the Indonesian industry by doing community service.Organizing cooperation programs in the ASEAN region.
3. Develop good and quality resources on an ongoing basis.

1. Cognitive (Knowledge)

To have knowledge and capability in the field of integral system, so the graduates can optimally contribute to develop the science and the business in order to increase the society welfare.

2. Psychomotor (Skills)

• The graduates can identify, formulate, and solve the design problems and integral system improvement, and implement the result of problem solving
• The graduates can adapt to the new technique and analysis instruments those are needed to conduct the industrial engineering professional practices.
• The graduates can effectively communicate and cooperate

3. Affective (Attitude)

• To have characters as a professional in the field of Industrial Engineering, understand and aware the responsibility of the profession, ethics, Islamic values, and global vision.
• To have integrity as a qualified scientist, entrepreneur character, and are independent, and innovative.

The lecturers are experts in four groups of competency those are Optimization and simulation, management and decision making, production system, APK and Ergonomics.

The Industrial Engineering Laboratories are located at two places:

a. Production system workshop at unit D building of campus 3 UAD

b. APK and ergonomics laboratory, computer laboratory, Optimization, statistics, simulation, product design at integrated laboratories building.

One of the best laboratories is Product Design. Because of the solid works software support as the media, a lot of product designs have produced by the students both as final projects and product design competitions. The trainings of product design have also done and were participated by participants from UAD and other institutions. The study program has one lecturer and three assistants who are internationally certified and have rights to be solid works trainers.

Some student achievements are:

1. The second runner up of Product Design and Development Competition 2008 among universities in Indonesia held by Yamaha Motor Indonesia cooperated with Machine Engineering and Industrial Engineering UGM, on behalf of Budi Kurniawan and others. The name of Product design was Fire Fighter Motorbike and the prize was six millions rupiah.
2. The winner of Indonesia Blog Festival, on behalf of Sugeng Handoko, the title was Showing My Village Potency to the World by Blog. The blog website is www.kalisongku.wordpress.com
3. The third runner up of Product Design Competition among universities in Special Region of Yogyakarta 2011 at Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta.
4. Product Design Contest 2012 “Automotive Safety Improvement” held by Universitas Surabaya, March 4, 2012.
5. National Bag Design competition held by PT EIGER and Universitas Maranata Bandung, October 1-3, 2012.
6. Passing International Solid works Software Competency Examination.
