Becoming a superior Study Program in the field of Chemical Engineering that is environmentally sound, is known internationally, is based on Islam and has a spirit of technopreneur

1. Creating an Islamic atmosphere within the Ahmad Dahlan University Chemical Engineering Study Program Yogyakarta.
2. Organizing learning in the field of Chemical Engineering which leads to quality technopreneurship nationally and internationally.
3. Develop applied technology research that is environmentally sound by utilizing natural resources.Carry out community service especially in the field of applied technology.
4. Develop cooperation with related institutions and industries to advance the implementation of learning, research and community service.

1. Produce graduates who are noble, professionals in the field of Chemical Engineering, especially the use of natural resources that are environmentally sound and innovative able to compete and be independent in national and international labor markets.
2. Developing and utilizing science and technology in the field of Chemical Engineering in processing environmentally sound natural resources so that they are relevant to the development of Indonesian development and the needs of the community.
3. Disseminate knowledge in the field of Chemical Engineering in order to advance the welfare of society and establish cooperation with related institutions, especially small and medium industries.

Researchers, lecturers, businessman, engineering companies, Agrobusiness Industry, Wast Managment Unit, bank analysts.

The graduates are expected to have basic knowledge of chemical engineering, have the ability to make  hypothesis, conduct analyses, and establish methodology in research, as a basis to develop industry. They are expected to be creative and innovative in seeing and seizing business opportunities and have the ability to adapt quickly to work in chemical -process industries and related areas.

This program is supported by 10 teaching staff with a minimum qualification of postgraduate  degree , and 7  teaching staff who are currently undertaking doctoral programs in Malaysia and Germany.

The main facilities include administration office, classrooms, laboratory, library, seminar room, student unit rooms, sport facilities, polyclinic, mosque, counseling room, canteen, language lab.

1. Qualifying for PKM National Level  ( Student Research ) by DIKTI 2012, with the title ‘ The Use of Japanese Crystal Algae to Reduce Obesity’. Research team : Bagus WisnuH. Intan Dwi I, Elza Novita P, and Tika Jayanti.
2. 2nd winner in Entrepreneurship Competition University Faculties , 2013, with the research title ‘ Pondoh Snake Fruit Jam in Cupcake Emoticons’ by Aditya Rahma H, Siti Halipa, Pramudia Bagus D, Bagus Wisnu H.
3. 3rd Winner Student Entrepreneurship University Faculties 2013, “ The Making of Solid Soap into Souvenir –shaped Modification” by Denok Rahayu H, Nurkholis, Baiiq As’urin, Zakiah Awalia J.S.D.
4. Technology Innovation Competition: Traditional Medication, student research funded by DIKPORA DIY  with the title ‘ Bettiemint : Combination of Betel leaves and Mint for Mouth Perfume” by Aziz Madyan Asyar, Wikan Tunjung Handaru, Dony Agus Prasetyo, and Ahmad Mustawinnahdi”
