ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING STUDY PROGRAM
Electrical Engineering Study Program was established in 1999. The vision is to be an excellent study program in the science and the application of electrical engineering especially industrial automation, telecommunication, computer and informatics based on Islamic values. The graduates hold Bachelor of Engineering.
Vision
The vision of PSTE UAD is to become a superior study program and is known internationally in the knowledge and application in the field of electrical engineering especially industrial automation and telematics based on Islamic values.
Mision
- Organizing academic programs, research, and community services in the field of electrical engineering especially industrial automation, telecommunications, computers and information technology that are standardized nationally and internationally.
- Organizing collaboration with academics, industry and government both locally, nationally and internationally.
- Implement Islamic guidelines in every academic and non-academic activity in the Electrical Engineering Study Program environment.
Aim
- Produce graduates of noble character and professionals in the field of electrical engineering, especially industrial automation, telecommunications, computers and informatics, and innovative so that they can be independent entrepreneurs and compete in the national and international labor market.
- Develop, utilize and disseminate science and technology in the field of electrical engineering especially industrial automation, telecommunications, computers and information technology so that it is always relevant to the development of Indonesian development and the needs of the community.
- Develop networks in the community and the global world to improve the quality of the tridharma of higher education in order to advance Islam and the world in general.

Microcontroller Programmer, PLC Programmer, FPGA Programmer, Control Engineer, Marketing engineer, Trader, Guru, Dosen, Information System Analyst, Information System Developer, Designer, Web developer, Computer Network Administrator, Computer Network Builder, Computer Network Application Developer, dan Telecommunication Engineer
Competency
The graduates competency based on the concentration are:
a. Industrial Automation
To master controlling principals on a dynamic system to follow the command based on the system purpose. The success of controlling can be achieved through programming so the controlling target can be reached optimally, effectively and efficiently by considering the system stability towards the external disturbance during the process.
b. Telematics
The graduates have active mastery of the principal on the various modern communication means, so the graduates can dedicate themselves in the field of telecommunication. In addition, the graduates are expected to develop the science and skills through direct field exploration.
Lecturers
The study program has 11 permanent lecturers consist of three doctors and eight lecturers currently study doctoral degree at national and international universities. Some subjects are taught by guest lecturers from UGM, UNY, and industry practitioners.
Supporting Facilities
The lecturers are supported by some facilities such as classrooms with LCD and audio visual, libraries, mosque, canteen, parking lot, and free WIFI area. In addition, there are three laboratories with complete instruments such as Logic trainer, FM Trainer receiver, 5 axis of motion robot arm, house installation module, and Omron PLC module. The student development activity is also supported by the existence of Electrical Engineering Student Association with some activities such as Robotic Development Community (RDC), Microcontroller Study Club (MCSC), Computer Network Study Club (CNSC), Cinematography Study Club (CSC), and Audio Video Community (AVIC).
Achievement
Some student achievements are:
- The champion of University Student Technology Innovation Competition (LITM) on Renewable Energy in 2012, on behalf of Firmana Setia Budi and team.
- The runner up of National Robotic Contest in 2012, on behalf of Prima A., Jehian Kamal, and Heri S.
- The most favorite robot of National Robotic Contest in 2012, on behalf of Prima A., Jehian Kamal, and Heri Santoso.
