MANAGEMENT STUDY PROGRAM
Globalization necessitates professional and broadminded managers who can adapt to changes. The undergraduate program in Management aims to equip students with relevant knowledge and skills to become independent, broadminded individuals capable of making a decision promptly and accurately whilst maintaining ethics and Islamic values. The program was offficially opened in 1997. Iin 2006, the program won a competition grant from DIKTI. It offers four streams namely marketing management, human resource management, finance management, operation management.
The vision of the program is to excel in knowledge of management and business which is globally oriented and based on Islamic values. Whereas the mission of the program is to conduct high quality teaching and education, engage in research and community services, enhance the understanding of Islam as a basis for knowledge development and academic life, and establish cooperation with government and private institutions. Graduates of the program are entitled to a degree Sarjana Ekonomi (S.E)

Graduates Prospect
Opportunities for employement are widely availabale as manager, financial analyst, consultant, entrepreneur, lecturers, and Government civil service.
Competencies
Management Study Program graduates are required to have key competencies, supporting competencies, and special competencies.
Core Competency
1. Cognitive (Knowledge)
Having managerial knowledge and skills in financial management, marketing management, human resources management and operational management so as to make optimum contribution to the development of management and business knowledge which in turn can improve social welfare..
2. Psychomotoric (Skills)
Being able to comprehend, analyze and make a strategic decision in management and business towards competitive advantages, and adapt to science and technology development; being able to apply technique of analysis in management in order to analyze critically different problems in management and business; as well as being able to communicate and transform managerial expertise through different forums.
3. Affective (Attitude)
Having personality as a professional in the field of management and business characterized by Islamic values, demonstrating integrity as highly qualified scholars, possesssing entrpreneurship, independent and innovative spirit
Supporting Competency
Communication skills in both spoken and writen forms using proper Indonesian and English, skills in selecting and navigating information, processing and presenting data, skills in processing and analyzing data and making a managerial decision by making use of information technology and the ability to resolve organizational issues so as to result in efficient and effective peformance.
Specific Competency
Graduates have the ability to manage risks, taxes and computer applications in management and business.
Lecturers
The teaching staff includes 12 lecturers with master degree from domestic universities, 4 of them are currently undertaking doctoral studies. Their areas of expertise covers financial management, marketing, human resources and operational.
Supporting facilities
The teaching learning activities are supported by facilities such as LCD, Audio Visuals, library, mosque, cooperative, canteen, parking lot, sports area, polyclinics, chemist, Student dormitory, and wi-fi area. The department also hosts a laboratory equipped with 40 computers, AC, and LCD, and a share trade corner where students can do transactions in stock market and have access to data for researching purposes.
