COMMUNICATION SCIENCE

1. Organizing education in the fields of communication, television, and public relations in the perspective of cultural diversity.
   
2. Conduct research in the fields of communication, television, public relations, cultural diversity and its relation to moral values in society.
   
3. Conduct service, dissemination, and application of the results of research and study of thought in the fields of communication, television, public relations, and cultural diversity and its relation to moral values in society.
   
4. Disseminate Islamic moral values in communication, television, and public relations practices to strive to improve society in a better cultural degree.
   
5. Establish cooperation with outside parties in the fields of communication, television, and public relations, and efforts to maintain cultural diversity.

There are plenty of opportunities for the graduates of this program to work in the field of television broadcasting. They can also pursue their career with government institutions and non government organizations and human resource development.

This program is designed to produce graduates in communication science with the following competencies:

1. Having a stong grasp of knowledge in communication science, television, and public relation and society’s cultural diversity
2. Being able to design and conduct research in the areas of communication, television, public relation, multicultural interaction and communication
3. Being able to develop, disseminate and apply research findings and ideas in the areas of communication, television, public relation and cultural diversity
4. Being able to implement Islamic values in order to improve the quality of communication, television programming, and  multicultural communication in culturally diverse communities.

The program is supported by a team of professional teaching staff with hands-on experience in the communication industry. They have postgraduate qualifications from prominent univeristies in Indonesia such as UGM, UI, UNS and UIN. Their academic specialization covers Broadcasting, Advertising, Photography, and Public Relations.

Comfortable class rooms with AC, multimedia teaching facilities, TV broadcasting studio,  computer laboratory and language laboratory. Students also have a chance to get an  internship at National and local television. Other benefits offered by UAD include UAD scholarship, Beasiswa Bantuan Belajar ( Scholarship for Sudent Study/BBBM) Beasiswa Peningkatan Prestasi Mahasiswa ( Scholarship for Improving Students Academic Achievement)
