ENGLISH EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM
This study program was registered on March 3, 1984, based on decree from Minister of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia Number 0139/0/1984. Our vision is to be an excellent and competitive study program in the field of English education that has global quality based on Islamic values. The missions are: to professionally conduct academic processes based on Islamic values; to conduct programs to improve the professional competency of academicians supported by information and communication technology; to conduct the sustainable student development to create global quality graduates based on Islamic values and to create Muhammadiyah cadres to continue the Muhammadiyah struggle and works; to develop the science in the fields of English teaching and learning through research and lecturers and students scientific publications those are institutionally and internationally qualified; to conduct community service programs and develop cooperation network with regional, national and international institutions. The graduates hold Bachelor of Education.

2. Supporting Competency

- To do correspondence in English.
- To have capability to develop the tourism potency and promotion.
- To have capability to develop and use IT and non-IT based learning media.
- To understand basic natural science to support the teacher profession.
3. Elective Competency
- To understand and apply basic Children Language Teaching principal.
- To understand and apply Basic English for Journalism principal.
Supporting Facilities
Several facilities are classroom with LCD and air-Cond, language laboratories (3 unit), micro teaching laboratories (2 unit), multimedia laboratory (1 unit), journalism laboratory (1 unit), and library. Other supporting facilities are auditorium, study program student association room, poly clinic, free access room, campus hall, mosque, drug store, dormitories, and open sport room.
